- Meghan Lavery & J’aime Lizotte, both natives of Maine, met on a beach in 1999. Here they formed a friendship while making clothes, as fashion was not offering what their minds were imagining. Meghan went on to pursue her interest in form, first through her study of jewelry design and metals in Maine. J'aime developed her love of clean lines by studying graphic design and sculpture.In the Summer of 2009 in Brooklyn, New York the reunion of these two, created a third- the label SHAPE SHIFTR; an investigation of the constant change in silhouette and form motivated by geometry.
